Cyril Edward Power (British, 1872-1951)

The Sunshine Roof (Coppel CEP 39)
Linocut printed in yellow, warm brown, viridian and Prussian blue, circa 1934, a good impression, on tissue thin oriental laid paper, signed, titled and inscribed 'N˚4/TP.' in pencil, a trial proof aside from the edition of 60, framed

Block 261 x 324mm (10 1/4 x 12 3/4in)
Sheet 371 x 335mm (14 5/8 x 13 1/8in)

Footnotes

It appears that this impression was intended as part of the numbered edition, as the number '60' can be read under the inscription 'TP.'. However, the artist presumably had a change of heart, and decided for it to be a proof instead.
The colours on this example, in comparison with others of the same plate, appear to be particularly bold and vivid.
